Fins Designed in CAD using Airfoils to Fly

Turns out the fins on our boards are similar to the wings on an airplane.

Whereas wings on a plane can create lift pointed upwards, the fins on our boards can create lift pointed into the wave, and forward as well.

In my explorations of using airfoils for the basis of a fin's shape, it's become obvious that most all of the airfoils you can find are able to translate directly into being useful shapes for a fin in water.
